Overview
The Supplier Development pillar of the Innovator Trust focuses on the management and implementation of upliftment initiatives on behalf of Vodacom, aimed at SMME’s within the Vodacom Supply Chain.
The initiatives vary and are aimed to improve service delivery of the SMME’s as well as the skill-set of their teams and employees.
Over the years, our initiatives have had a consistent focus on 360 degree development on SMMEs, Health and Safety, which is a flagship programme and in alignment to Vodacom’s Health and Safety priority goal for all employees, contractors and service providers. A focus on Sales and Marketing, as this being one of the key drivers for the success of SMME’s as well as assisting SMMEs to be certified in the services that they provide such as fibre installations and maintenance.
Criteria for admission
- Existing supplier on Vodacom’s SCM database,
- South African registered EME or QSE entity,
- At least 51% Black Owned entity.
- Valid Tax Clearance certificate,
- Valid B-BBEE Affidavit,
- Latest Annual Financial Statements available.
