Born from a woman’s determination to prove herself in the man’s world of security solutions, GlobeScope is proudly 100% Black-woman owned and operated by Glynn Mashonga. After reaching the proverbial glass ceiling at her previous place of employment, Glynn decided to launch out into the deep and started her own security company in 2005 and has been successfully growing it ever since.
From the outset, Glynn was determined to always be at the cutting edge of new technologies in the security industry, and has ensured that the company is always at the forefront of providing sophisticated security solutions to clients. That commitment to continuous improvement provides peace of mind to clients, knowing that they will always have access to the latest technologies in the security and surveillance industry. GlobeScope is accordingly in the business of providing people with peace of mind, for themselves, their loved ones, and for their valuable possessions.
Glynn has also made sure that she is fully qualified and knowledgeable in all aspects of the security industry, and she is often found on a ladder assisting her technicians with the finer points of security installations. GlobeScope technicians are all fully qualified and comply with the latest industry standards to install security solutions.
Besides the sophisticated and innovative electronic systems, GlobeScope also provides human protection solutions.
Giving back to the community is a key pillar for the company, and GlobeScope provides internships for unemployed and unemployable people from the local communities. This adherence to the saying “teach a man to fish” has enabled a steady pipeline of newly qualified security specialists to be employed by the industry, including several by GlobeScope.
