Bilionetworks was established in 2009 with a vision of providing a complete cabling solution and support service for the telecommunications and networking LAN infrastructure to meet the changing communication needs of any organization. The company has grown to offer a range of ICT products and services. Bilionetworks strives to provide a standard of service that exceeds the expectations of their customers in the information technology and telecommunications industry with the use of quality products supported with ongoing customer care.  

Mark Ahjam is the Managing Director and graduated from Peninsula Technikon in 1988 with a National Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering and started his career with Plessey in 1989 in the Telecoms department. At Plessey he worked as a Telecoms engineer in the Pabx department. He was later promoted to the sales and maintenance division where he gained valuable experience which inspired his entrepreneurial flair.

In 1997 he left Plessey and founded BM Telecoms with branches in Cape Town and Gauteng. Mark's vision and passion for service excellence helped build BM Telecomsto a significant player in the ICT sector. In 2009 Mark sold

BM Telecoms to Sizwe and managed the cabling department for one year. In 2010 Mark left Sizwe and assumed his position with Bilionetworks.

The company has since grown, employing 124 staff members and also offers a range of ICT products and services – from plant construction to audio visual and CCTV options. Furthermore, they will be working in the Atlantic Sea Board until May 2017 and then moving into other areas of Cape Town.
